hesitation question 200

Ive been having a slight hesitation problem lately that im hoping doesnt get any worst. i replaced the cap and rotor and it didnt help. its not all the time but it acts as if its not getting gas for about 1/2 a second and then is fine for a couple of seconds and repeats. like i said its not all the time but i would like to find out what it is before i get stranded.

Does this happen during steady state (ie. accelerator held in steady position) or when accelerator moving either on or off of it's rest idle position (ie. accelerating from stop, or accelerating from coasting on the highway)?

If it's the second group, it may be your IAC valve, or TPS.

how much gas is in your tank when this happens?

I had similar things happen when the gas tank was half full or less.

The prepump had gone out and needed to be replaced....take a look at the gas level.

Also a amp meter on the fuse box should read >1.5 amps on the prepump fuse.
