120 Dynamo connections 120-130 1968

Hi,

Doing some work on the car and have displaced a small wire on the dynamo and its not obvious where is should go. The wire is connected to a blob that looks like a condenser on teh dynamo. Any idea where the blue wire from the condenser should go to? Thanks

Mat

Mat,

If it is a condensor then it may have been fitted by a previous owner to suppress radio interference. Have a look this link for more info: (http://www.morrisminoroc.co.uk/technicaltips/Radio_Interference.html)

However, I'd suggest that you find out for sure what it is before going ahead on the assumption that this is what its for.

Is the wiring between the regulator and dynamo standard?

For the record I never have owned and never will own a Morris Minor(!)
