Engine/Transmission Mounts S90-V90

How would I check for wear on Engine/Transmission Mounts.....I get the feeling they are worn as I get knocking from underneath going over bumps as if the transmission is moving around a little too much and chinking against something. And the engine seems to knock too when I throw the car around a bit...though not as bad as the transmission does.

looks like transmision mount, it is weak point..

Has anyone ever changed these mountings on these vehicle?

Engine/Transmission Mounts S90-V90

I've changed all 3 on my 96. The new engine mounts give about 3/8" clearance between the oil pan and the front crossmember. The old mounts allowed the pan to rest on the crossmember. I just changed the transmission mount for good measure. Had about 100K when I changed them, took about 2 hours for all 3 mounts. Not a bad job. Good luck.
