After searching eBay Motors for 240 lights, I found this headlight. I have it, and it's not for a 1986-93 240. I want to get it to a Volvo owner who can use it, but I need to know that it fits.

It has a very clear plastic lens, which seems attached quite well. No bulb or mounting bracket.

Yup, it is the 90-on 740/940 plastic headlight for cars without the adjacent fogs (those are glass headlights). I think it has some value because, unlike the 240, there are no aftermarket equivalents, AFAIK?

I believe the 90 740 and 91+ 740/940 use two separate styles of lamps. Best would be to post the part numbers.

Nah, there are aftermarkets. There is less demand, however, as the cars are a few years newer, and lesser in quantity.

Prolly a 740/940, but to err on the safe side, post dimensions of the lens, and that'll make it easier to nail down.
