Instrument cluster not working..HELP 700

Installed new ignition switch to solve a no start problem. Car starts great now but I have no working anything in the instrument cluster. HELP! FAQ has given me no further insight. I have checked all connections and even installed another working cluster,thinking that I might have damaged the other when I pulled it to replace ign. switch. Anybody have any ideas,please post them. Thanks for any input.

Did you disconnect the battery before performing the service to the switch? If not then possibly you blew a fuse, or are there any other accessories not working?
