Bilstein HD shocks are awesome. Thanks to all that recommended them. 200

I just got new Bilstien heavy duty shocks $80 from IPD. After removing my old shocks i realized that they weren't doing anything at all. I could compress them with my hand and the never returned. Also one of them leaked oil all over the place. Its only a 1 hr job and well worth the upgrade.

BTW the Bilsteins are awesome. I barely feel the biggest bumps in the road. The car even sits higher and even. (It used to sag on one side). I thought it was the springs but thanks to all the help here I realized it was the shocks.

Thanks
Chris

Glad you like them!! They probably are one of the best upgrades for a 240 and well worth it. I loved them at first but since I live in Boston proper I've decided to switch back to the OEMs for now due to the roads here...with all the bracing the chassis is too damn stiff and every single bump/pot hole is jarring. Koni yellows would be my next experiment...

If you are considering getting rid of your Bilsteins, I'm looking for a set for my '89. I'm in Western Mass. (Westfield) Thanks.
