it has been 10 years since I did a caliper replacement on my 7-series. Can some one remind me if I am supposed to put a dab of LOCKTITE on either the cailper bracket bolts (hex bolts to strut) or the other two bolts on ends of the slider pins (They're Girlings. If so, which color Locktite?

I use Loctite 242 removable(blue) on both.

The ones I remove seem to always have red LT. I always use blue when I reassemble.

I would use blue. The mount bracket and caliper bolt come with a red loctite and the slider bolts are usually blue. Rarely do you see people using loctite on this stuff in the industry. If you kept loctiting them in with every removal there would definitely come a point where they would not come back out. So use the stuff very sparingly.
