electrical harness

instead of replacing the harness that is bad, is there anything wrong with splicing in a new piece for each wire and eliminating the harness altogether? the only prob i can see is that it wouldn't be possible to unplug the harness. when would i want to do that anyway? its just like a car stereo, in that the harness makes it convenient, but not necessary, right?

Nothing wrong - just messy. How many wires are you thinking of replacing anyways? Don't be suprised if many more wires are disintegrated beneath the sheething.

-- Kane ... who should take pics out of the harness out of the Sacrificial Brick. No, it wasn't pretty.
