First I like to thank all you guys that help me out with that shaking problem on my 1981 240 GL. Someone nailed it, it was the motor mounts, both mounts broke or cracked.
More problems, my right rear window stop working,no power, and the passenger side work intermitten. I just got the darn thing painted and all of a sudden the windows start acting up(2) Does anyone know where I can get a good sunroof cable, my sunroof sags & leaks too.

Thank Budcoldweiser, I took your advice and learned how to clean all the crud off the contact in the power windows. All the window work.

Two things to check regarding the power window problem. 1)The switches. The switches always seem to get dirty. Pry them out of the armrest and either clean them or replace them. 2)The wiring at the door hinge. The constant opening and closing of the doors can cause these wires to fatigue and break over time. This just happened to me in my 83 245 Turbo.

Question, 3/4 of my windows work in my '92 240. The problem is, they always go down, but just don't come back up. Could this still be a dirty switch problem?
