Stumble off idle 900 1995

I have an intermittent acceleration problem on my 1995 940 NA
Here are specs and symptoms:

130k miles, compression good doesn't use oil

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing belt, air filter, flame trap all new within last 20,000 miles

Car will stumlble upon full throttle from a stop. After a breif period of lackluster acceleration the engine will pull strong.

Recently ran 2 cans of LubproMoly FI claner through and that noticably improved idle smoothness and power during acceleration. Could the injectors still be dirty?

Other than this the car runs great and gets good milage

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Scott

Either TPS not switching correctly in and out of idle, or IAC valve not functioning properly (needs cleaning?). Check the switch first (measure at ECU; that's the bottom line), then clean the IAC.

I had the identical symptom; cleaning the IAC was the fix.
