Recommendations for a Dual SU Carb Rebuild 120-130

Hello,
I am considering rebuilding my dual SU HS6 carbs on my B20B in my 67' 122S wagon, and I need some recommendations for whom to rebuild them. I have seen several services online which do this sort of thing, but I wanted to call on the experiences of 'y'all in this sort of matter. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
Will Hawkins

If I have the later throttle bore bushes (teflon coated steel) or the original bronze ones are not leaking, I do it myself with a kit from Burlen Fuel Systems (ordered on-line). Always get the full kit with the new shafts and order new needles (separate). It is adviseable to get their manual on the carbs too as the testing proceedures are outlined therein.

Otherwise, Rhys gets really good press here. Easterners go to Joe Cuerto as he is the Atlantic US SU guru.

Any preference between Joe's and Rhys's rebuilds, other than the $50 difference?

Thanks,
Will Hawkins

I usually do my own.

Jim Taylor here in Bartlesville, Oklahoma does good work at reasonable prices.
You can call him at (918) 333-3444 and talk it over. He's been doing them
for a long time. Tell him I sent you.

I've been more than pleased with rebuilds by Rhys Kent at Island Automotion.
