clutch pedal sticking down S90-V90 1997

as anyone come across a clutch peddle that every now and again sticks down. if so what can causes it, is it the cable or something else? THANKS.

Make sure your mats aren't the culprit. The mats caused the gas pedal on my 740 to stick.

Was not aware that the v90/s90 series came with a standard shift tranny.
