240 - Sputtering & stalling after 1-hr use

Hi, this is my first time here. My 1990 240 DL (B230) is experiencing a sputtering problem after I warm the car up after approx. 1-hr of driving. Once warmed up, it starts to miss & knock at acceleration. Once back up at 25-30, the knocking stops. In the past 3-weeks I have put in the following new parts: Airmass, Coil, Plugs,Distributor cap & rotor, Fuel Regulator, Fuel pump relay, Fuel pump, Fuel filter, ECT, Crank sensor, Cleaned throtel houseing, Cleaned Flame trap assembly. I am stumpped and don't know what to do next. Please help me if you can, the poor thing is sick and I'm loosing my mind.

Thank you :) Bill

See if the car has an EGR valve. If it does have one you should see a metal pipe coming up from the breather box area to the middle of the manifold between the injectors. If it is sticking I can create problem at low and idle speeds. If it does not have an EGR, I am as lost as you are.

If it has an EGR, loosen the two bolts on the manifold an insert a shim between the manifold and the EGR pipe. Tighten bolt and see if improves the driving.
