Need recommendations on alternator upgrade for 93 245 200 1993

Well, the 80 amp alternator on my 93 245 is no longer cutting it. It's working well and putting out about 80 amps, but with aux lights, and an upgraded radio its just barely keeping up when the A/C is on.

Already checked that I'm getting almost the same voltage at the battery as at the alternator.

Will 100 amp or greater units from 740/940s fit?

Any wiring issues? Thanks.

You might also look for a GM alernator as an upgrade.
Do a search on the brickboard or maybe others like turbobricks, swedespeed. I know I read about it somewhere - it requires a couple of mods with the dremel/grinder, but it sounded like an interesting solution.
I think the GM unit has a higher amp rating and is also easier to find / cheaper than a volvo unit.

Nope, had one in several of my 240s, no fitment issues in any of them.
