ECU 700 1989

I have been told that my ECU is faulty and the service shop that I use will not install an aftermarket unit. They claim to see to many problems with them. Has anyone used these ECU's with any unusual results?

Which ECU do you need? The 556 is replaced by the 933. Just go to your local junkyard and find one. Just a very few minutes of your time to make it work better.

hi there, it only takes about 10 minutes to install the e.c.u.
consider doing it yourself. if its the 561 that went bad you can pick up a 951 replacement on ebay usually for around 50.00$-100.00$ or someone here may have one. im fresh out at the moment.
i have read hear quite a few times about poor quality aftermarket e.c.u.s
i suggest find a used bosch. good luck
