Hello All:

I am an owner of a 1967 122S Wagon but I am putting out the call to all Volvo owners to join us on Wednesday night, September 14th at 6:45PM outside the entrance to Bear Mountain State Park in New York State for an evening of Volvo camaraderie. I attended one of these "Cruise Nights" last month and the interest in my Volvo was profound, particularly since 90% of the vintage cars are U.S. iron. Cost of entrance into the park is $2.00 per car, and if we meet up outside en masse we should be able to stake out some nice real estate inside so late comers can park with us upon arrival.

If you would like to attend, please let me know what time you plan to arrive at the park so I can gauge when to enter the park and how many additional spaces we should reserve once inside.

Although my Volvo 240's are much newer('86 & '87)and perhaps not worthy nonetheless sounds like fun. How far is Bear Mountain Park from central NJ ? Perhaps you could post the address then I and other could see how far & get directions via Mapquest.

Even I am interested to get my 1992 740 Wagon. Hope to see you all.

All Volvos are welcome, and I saw many cars in the concourse area that are newer than yours. Probably in far worse shape, too.
