I am replacing the front struts with Bilsteins on my 1993 940T. I seem to recall that I should NOT be using the bumpers from the old struts that were on the car when I install the Bilsteins . Any one done this job lately and know for sure about this?

i have HD bilsteins on my bimmer.the bump stop is built in on the struts.plus there is no way the stock bump stops could go on unless you drilled a huge hole in them.

If you mean yellow Bilsteins, I know for sure the bumpers won't fit.
