1990 240 NEW CAR WINDOW STICKER 200

Does anyone know what city and highway mpg the window sticker on a 1990 240 5-speed manual was claiming?

I am pretty sure that they were rated around 22/27 city/highway, like the other guys said. However, I consistantly get 25 city and 33 highway with my '87 245 with manual transmission (425k miles, too). I would imagine the 90 model is no differnt. I suppose it's all in how you drive.

The sticker from my 1990 240 auto has 20 city 25 highway on it. I'm pretty sure the 5 spd was 2 mph higher or 22 city 27 highway.

22/27 seems about correct, although in mixed 50/50 driving I AVERAGE 27 MPG.

I am not sure what was on the original sticker, but
you can check the following website - www.fueleconomy.gov
It lists the city and hwy MPG for all makes and models
from 1985 to 2005.

My 1990 Automatic averages about 23 MPG, mostly city,
some highway driving.
