Change from AW 71 in the 90 turbo to the AW70 for 91 turbo? 700

why did volvo do this for the 91 models?? I dont' understand this?? are there some benefits of the AW70 over the AW71? I am under the assumption tha tthe AW71 is much etter than the AW70.
