I'm replacing my original front strut inserts (long overdue) with Bilstein Heavy Duty inserts. They are longer than the original I just removed from the suspension(looks like Boge Pro type maybe). Anyway, it appears the Bilstein strut body is longer than the original and is rougly equal in length to the original strut body insert plus the insert spacer. Do I omit the strut spacer in the installation? If not what is the proper procedure? Thanks.
