When I changed out the engine in the 122 I also installed an M41 along with it's short shifter. It seems to perform OK, but it makes a kind of clattering noise I'm not familiar with. Could be the tranny, I guess, and it may seem louder than normal due to the large hole in the floor. What kind of reputations do short shifters have?
Just want to get some opinions before I have the hole welded, or go back to the pudding stirer.
