86' 240DL Tail / Running Light Problem 200 1986

Hi all, first time back since the board changed (?) how long ago did this happen? I looked through a ton of archives but I couldn't / didn't see an answer to my problem.

Anyway, got a problem with the "Blue Bitch." She's been sitting up for about three months and now the tail / running lights don't work; brake lights are fine as are the turn signals. With the head lights off, in position one or in position two the results are the same, no tail / running lights. I made it to work this AM with the rear fogs serving as running lights

I've checked the fuses in the kick panel (bottom two 8A fuses) and they are looking good. Pulled the covers off of the assemblies and to my untrained eye, all looks good.

What is my next step? Where else should I look?
