Poly Bushings in the Freezer 200 1989

I have Frozen many a Ball joint that are pressed in because it contracts them a few .001" and makes them go in with less effort. I was wondering if anyone has done this with the Poly Bushings (specifically the Torque Rods)?
Since there are two halves, maybe it's not an issue and you can tap them in with a mallet. Never did Poly's before.
thoughts?
