custom spray paint -- good experience 200

Hiya,

You all may remember my hit-and-run frustrations from a few months ago. Well, I sanded and painted my car immediately, but the dept store light blue was, um, somewhat different than my factory color. I bought some custom spray paint online (in this case towerpaint.com, but there are other retailers) and they filled a can with the factory color for my volvo for about $25 + s/h. Sure, the factory color is different than my 17-yr-old weathered car color, but how different? Well, I finally got out there and painted it. I don't have much painting experience so I did a mediocre job, but let me say this: it came out quite well enough for me, and I didn't spend $500 at a body shop.

So -- if you have some touchup to do, or even a few panels (the can ran out eventually), I highly recommend the DIY online custom paint can experience.
