I'm 1/2way through an 800mi trip (my 1st in my "new" 245) this weekend and my steering has started to pull very hard to the left. It tracked perfectly straight when I left yesterday, but about 100mi down the highway I noticed a slight pull and it progressively got worse. Tire pressures are all the same and I crawled under the car today, but couldn't visibly see any issues.
I have noticed an occasional "pop" when taking off or braking so I'm wondering if it's a ball joint issue. I was thinking it may also be a dragging caliper, but I don't have anywhere to pull anything apart or many tools with me. Any suggestions on "quick" checks would be greatly appreciated! I can deal with the pulling until I get back home tomorrow, but I want to make sure nothing fails since I have another 400mi to drive!
