1993 940 IDLE SETTING 900

I have the LH2.4 Jetronic system. Often times when I start the engine, it will fire up but the idle is so low it does not continue to run. If I time it right, I can hit the gas and it will continue to run. Also, some times it just dies. If this were an old fashioned car with an idle adjustement I would just crank it up a bit, but I don't see any adjustment mentioned in the manual
I recently had a smog test and it passed with flying colors, so I think the engine is in pretty good tune (Although I only get around 18 mpg around the city).
Is there any way to slightly increase the idle or is it 100% computer-driven?
I can live with this but the wife gets very upset
TIA, Papa Al
