update on my lack of low end power 200 1984

so i checked out the cam & ignition timing on my b23 this weekend. the belt was kinda loose, the guy i bought the car from replaced it a year ago. the timing was at 15º BTDC. so i readjusted the timing belt with proper tension, double checked the cam and crank timing, then set the ignition timing to 12º BTDC.

not much difference. the car still just falls flat on its face when i stand on it off the line until it hits ~2000rpm, and even then its nothing worth noting. i'm not expecting to take off in a cloud of burning rubber, but i've had several 240's and this one is unexplainably slow.

could this be a knock sensor/throttle position switch problem?
