testing fuel pump(s) 200 1992

SO my 240 won't start. ANd I've got spark. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge.
I sthere any other way to test the in-tank or main pumps? Listening? Or maybe a volume test?(So many cc's a minute?) The new pumps are PRICEY and I need to be sure. Also is there a way to test the Fuel Pump Relay? thanks y'all.
