What are you 960 guys getting for OIL mileage? 900

I've been using Mobil 1 10W30 since I got my car in '99. Initially I was adding a quart about every 2500 miles. It seemed to improve a little for a while but maybe it was just my impression as I wans't recording it.

Since I replaced the head gasket and put in the 204 HP cams last winter, I'm putting in a guart about every 1000 miles of so. No visible smoke at any time. I'm wondering if the little bit of anti-freeze that got into the oil messed up the rings or if the higher lift cam is affecting oil by the valve guides or???????? Maybe in time it will improve again?
