134a Retro flop - 80 245 200

Hello,

Did a retro job on my 1980 245. Used the kit from volvo with new evaporator, receiver-drier, expansion valve, seals, etc. The guages now read 32 low, 151 high. At higher engine speeds the low drops to about 25, the high up to 175.

Can't find any leaks anywhere. Did the vacuum for an hour and let it sit for 10 minutes with absolutely no drop in vacuum (30 hg). The pipes around the evaporator are ice cold, but the air temp barely comes down to 68-70, slightly higher than the ambient temp.

Any clues?
Thanks,
Aaron
