Rear cam seal update, with pictures. Tell me if i'm correct. . . 200

i pulled the valve cover gasket off to replace the rear cam seal. the cam seal isn't even loose, but i found what i think was the leak. it's an oily spot on the valve cover gasket, with a corresponding spot on the head. think that could leak out a quart of oil over 4 hours?

if the rear cam seal is solidly in place, do i bother replacing it? If so, how do i get it out? it doesn't feel like it's moving. and don't worry, the cam seal retainer will be installed (properly, since it wasn't last time)

i'll get the pictures put up later. . .my computer's not liking me right now. the oil spot on the gasket/head can't be larger than a dime.
