Is the instrument cluster in an 84 240 swappable w/ an 87 240? 200 1987

I have a working 84 instrument cluster and my friend has an 87 with a busted Speedo. I haven't seen it yet to investigate the actual problem but thought maybe I could just swap in my 84 cluster and then play with hers at my convenience.
