740GLE - Starts, then doesn't; starts, then doesn't... 700 1990

I replaced the ECU earlier this year and my 740GLE-16v is now acting up again. It ran great for a month and now it starts cold, but after running it around town, it'll either start hard or won't start at all. The engine cranks, just doesn't fire. I've flooded it a couple of times doing so. Leaving it alone overnight (and having to bum a ride home every time) usually helps the darned thing.

Before the ECU diagnosis, I replaced the plugs, wires, air mass meter, and battery.

The service light and check engine light are now on.

What's this frustrated Volvo lover to do???
