time for shocks and struts...maybe springs? 700 1990

Last time the shocks and struts were replaced was back in 2001, so it's been about 4 years now. The suspension probably took a good beating since then, so I have a feeling I'm due. The bounce test reveals nothing, but many folks have said the bounce test is useless, so I'm not going to go on that. The rear end seems to break loose on turns a bit easier now, and the car dives quite a bit on hard braking, plus it leans on corners.

I don't know what struts I have in there at the moment, but the shocks are KYB Gas-A-Just.

What do ya'll recommend for the shocks and struts? Seems there is a lot of varying opinion, but I hear Boge and Bilstein mentioned frequently. I don't have a lot of money to spend on these items, so money is a concern. Plus, I will be having my mechanic install the parts for me since I don't have the workspace, time and tools to do installation myself.

Also, how do I know if I need new coil springs? I'm assuming they wear with age as well. Other than the ride height being an indicator of wear, what else is a symptom of wearing/old coil springs?

Thanks a lot!
