92 940 window regulator? 900

Hello Fellow Bricksters
I need to replace the front drivers window regulator,according to the
mechanic who took a look at it. He states that one of the scissors arms
is completely disconnected/broken.The motor works but the window does
not go down. Any suggestions can it be repaired or not? There is a chance
the regulator is riveted to the motor I do not know yet I have not taken
it apart yet.
