Timing belt drive gear removal 900 1995

Changing the timing belt on my '95 940 Turbo. Thought that, while I was in there, I might as well change the seals. Problem is how do I get the timing belt drive gear off the crank?? According to the FAQ, all I have to do is "pull it off". No further detail is given and it doesn't pull off. I don't want to destroy the washer behind it and I have to replace the seal.

Any help would be appreciated.
