throttle body swap 86 to 90 200

I am wondering if it is possible to put the throttle body of a 1986 245 non turbo on a 1990 similar model. I know the injection system is not quite the same ,but apart from the knob underneath which allows adjustment of idling on the 1986 and is absent on the 1990, what are the differ3ences and the counter-indications. Is the idle switch the same.
