oil dipstick seal 900

first off i have a 92 960. what type of seal is used for the oil dipstick tube where it connects to the pan. im guessing its an o ring. i ask because mine is spraying oil every time i rev the engine, so i assume the seal is either bad or not there anymore. do these go bad often? thanks for the help
