Oil leak from valve cover , What to do ??? 200

I have a 1987 245 dl just bought . It has apprk 125k . Starts and runs extremely well . Though I have only put apprx 50 miles on her. the family I purchased from took very good care of her. However she was driven on mostly short trips and with periods of storage. The engine is a littly grimey. And today I noticed a pin sized leak that when cleaned with a cloth appears again several minutes later. The leak is coming form the frontleft corner of the valve cover. I cannot locate any other leaks. But am sure that if i replace the valve cover gasket others will arise. I need the expert of adive of my fellow bricksters. I have never performed a valve gasket job .Appears straight forward. Any advice. Does the valve cover need to me adjusted. The gasket is only 20 $$ So I am eager to fix if it will solve the problem. Also what is typical in terms of leakage with the B230 1987 245 gl 125k . I just purchased the car so I am kinda discouraged and considering selling ,can someone please tell me that hopefully everything is normal and not to freak out , or am I screwed. If someone could provide details about how to perform the gasket replacement and whether or not this is normal and why is it happening. I own a 1984 244 103k no leaks what so ever however volvo steamed clean before i owned . Just worried I got ashort end of a deal. ????? All responses mucho appreciated.
