240 Wont Start 200

Hey Guys...as you may know i have a 1984 volvo 244 dl. well i had this problem with the car running too rich. well oxygen sensor and coolant temp sensors were shot....fuel is now mixed with my oil. well....today i took out the old oxy sensor out and put it in a brand new one...(the old sensor was covered in BLACK) so i put in the new sensor...put in some fuel...drained some of the oil out..and put in new oil...battery was dead but i got a new one...it wont START. at all...it cranks but it doesnt start! i checked all the spark plug connections and such...but NO start..im very frustrated please help..

p.s. i still havent put in the new coolant temp sensor...(is that why my car cant start)??? thanks
