instrument cluster removal question 900

Read the FAQ on the subject and thought it would be a simple thing to do. I tried for a long time this morning and I wasnt able to do it. I must be missing something. The clips mentioned in the FAQ, is it between the plastic bezel and the cluster ? The vehicle is a 92 940T. Aside is there a volvo manual that deals in removing stuff like this ?
