Thanks for 3 years of help. The time has come for my brick to move on to someone wlse who will care for her and love her. But, I don't know what to sell her for. (special deal for any BB'er who might have an interest)

She is a 79 245dl faded grey 228,000mi.

New: (within the last 3 years) front seats -from pic'n'pull, alternator, starter, radiator, battery with heavy cables, transmission mount (4 speed w/od Tranny replaced in 98 or 99 by Bob's Volvo garage in Denver) new hatch hinge so the license plate lights work. It's had it's wheel wells fully rehabed in 02 so, no or little corrosion or rust there, and the rest of the body is almost rust free. I say almost because it has been in MD for 4 years now, and I haven't checked it with a fine tooth comb.. It's sporting Virgos (minus 3 center caps) and I put the front skirt from a newer 240 on it to help cool the brakes. Has an electric passenger mirror and I replaced the old style crome mirror with a early 80's slim Volvo mirror on the drivers side. Simitoyo (or something like that)Tires with less than 10,000 miles on them.

Needs: driver side window, exaust connected, probably a clutch (I think.. It's SO different than my current car's -00 Jetta- clutch I have to assume it's going) PAINT needs paint! Also needs to have the sony cassette players heads cleaned.

I have alot of the records dating back to the mid 80's. It has spent all but the last 4 years of its life in Colorado. I brought it to MD in 01. It's a California model, for what thats worth. I know it's not worth much cash.. I was just hoping that I might find someone here that needs a wagon and that I know will take care of it. I hate to see it go with just anyone. I know I will probably sell it for less than I could get just selling varoius parts off it on Ebay, But I want someone who loves Volvos to get it. Thanks in advance for your opinions.
