Fried speaker anyone ? 900 1992

My 1992 940T keeps blowing right dashboard speaker.
I replace it, and the moment radio comes back on,
there is a high pitched noise for few seconds, after
which the speaker is toast....
Replaced the amp, with no difference.
This is getting to be expensive. Yes, I can live without one
speaker, but it still buggs me....
