stalling 940 wagon, sputtering, no power, hard time turning over..thought it was bad batch of gas but isnt 900 1994

I have a 940 wagon '94 with 210 K miles
It runs like a charm till i came up to school in NH
weve had really cold weather and very rainy (im sure you've all seen Keene on tv, im about 20 miles from there)

The car sputters and stalls, has no power when driving till it is fully warmed up about a half hour later..someone said a choke sensor? CAT converter? it has a brand new exhaust from the CAT back. Fuel filter maybe??

please help!
