Blinkers flash very fast, one side only, bulbs work 700 1990

Driver's side blinkers flash very rapidly. Lights are working front and rear. I expected to find a bulb out, but they work. Any thoughts? Maybe just clean the sockets? Car is clean without corrosion. Could bulbs cause this even while still working?

I thought I'd posted this about a week ago, but I came back the next day and didn't see it. Sorry if I missed it.
