Freeze plug special tool-John Sargent 700 1989

I am doing a head gasket job on the Tc with a 165k(blown between #2+#3),I noticed a weepy freeze plug on the turbo side of the block on #1 cylinder.Is there a special tool or method of replacing the plug?The plugs I ordered from Volvo look different the American made ones I have replaced in the past.
