Hi all:

I started taking off all plastic mouldings above the doors in my 1986 740 Turbowagon. I'm going to replace the head liner. I found this suspicious "James Bond" device over the driver's side door, under the moulding. It just fell out when I took the mouding off. It consists of 2 sensors (Looks like microphones) connected to a circuit board. This cuircuit board is wrapped in a clear plastic bag, ty-rapped at the end.

I'm wondering what this does? Or is it some diabolical device planted by the PO. :-)
