Today Olof told me "Your car, a California white, is a rare 444 car indeed. I've never seen one. There are very few left. They were better appointed than the regular 444 and have a special interior. You should keep it as original as possibly it will be worth more that way. The serial number ?] tells me it was manufactured early May or June 1958. The last 444 came out end July 1958 serial nbr 196 004."

So the car is California White (#42) on the outside and it has blueish-green and creme/white interior with some stylish designs.

So I ask, has anyone else seen this color scheme? Pictures and info here:

I would like to find out what the exact colors [codes, description] are for the seats so I can give them to the reupholsterer to match. Olof says he has the names and description of the colors but all in Swedish.

Also, does anyone here have a newer PV444 than I?
