Should I change my 240 for a 740?? 200 1988

I own a nice '88 240GL (B230K) and someone offered a very nice 740GLE. The general look of the car is quite the same in both, but the 740 has red leather, red dash, automatic transmision, sunroof, and third row seats. I'm about to change to the 740, any advice?? Are they both too different?? I have no experience with the 740, please help!!
