Glove box pops open 900 1993

Wife.gov decided to see exactly how much she could stuff into the glovebox on our '93 940t before it would burst.....and succeded.
Now the thing won't stay shut, just randomly pops open going down the road, or when I shut a door.
What's the trick for adjusting that thing? I couldn't find an adjustment on quick look, and ended up taking a small piece of cardboard and folding it up and wedging it on top of the catch to where it holds now, but I'd like to fix the thing.
